Dionysia Chatzi works as a Laboratory Teaching Staff at the School of Theology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She studied Religious Studies at the School of Theology of Aristotle University. She has an MA degree on Systematic Theology, focusing on the dialogue between Theology and Atheism, and a PhD degree in the interdisciplinary field of Religion and Film Art. She has worked as a byzantine icon and fresco painter and has delivered courses on Byzantine art. For many years she worked as a teacher of religion in Secondary Education. She was also a member of the Drafting Group authorized by the Greek Ministry of Education for the writing of the texts books for religion classes. She has published articles in different scientific journals and a book with Armos publications. She participates in the organization of international educational seminars and conferences. She is attending academic courses at École Pratique des Hautes Études, of Paris Sciences & Lettres. Her diverse scholarly interests include Anthropology, Art, Aesthetics and Intercultural education and dialogue.
