Chrysoula Papadopoulou is a Special Teaching Staff member for the Hebrew language at the Department of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has taught Modern Hebrew as a member of the SCP at the Department of Mediterranean Studies at the Aegean University. She holds a degree in French Language and Literature from School of Philosophy from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has studied General Linguistics at the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, the University of Lausanne and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he obtained a Master’s degree in General Linguistics. She studied Hebrew language and Semitic linguistics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition to her teaching work, she is involved in the translation of contemporary Israeli literature. She is a member of the European Association of Israel Studies (S.O.A.S., University of London).
