Brief CV

Moschos Goutzioudis was born in Thessaloniki in 1975. He is a graduate of the Department of Theology of the Theological School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He did postgraduate studies at the theological schools of Thessaloniki and Durham, England. He received the postgraduate and doctoral diploma from the Department of Theology of AUTh. specializing in the Interpretation of the New Testament. His field of research was the letter to the Hebrews. He worked as a curator and administrator of the Unified Ecclesiastical Lyceum of Kilkis during the period 2000-2001 and then in private education teaching for six years religious and school vocational guidance (SEP) at the Lyceum. During the period 2006-2008 he also taught the introduction and theology of the New Testament, ecclesiastical history and liturgical in tutoring departments for the preparation of theologians for the ASEP competition. In 2009 he taught the elective course of the spring semester Letters of the New Testament with recruitment from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as a contract teacher with PD 407/1980. In 2009 he was elected lecturer of the New Testament in the Department of Theology of the Theological School of AUTh. Today he serves as an Assistant Professor teaching courses related to the introduction and interpretation of the New Testament.

He has attended various international seminars in Greece and abroad and has participated in several conferences of his specialty with presentations and announcements. He has been a member of the international scientific society Society of Biblical Literature since 2000 and the Hellenic Society of Biblical Studies since 2011. He collaborates with the Hellenic Bible Society while in the past he participated as a lexicographer in the Great Orthodox Christian Encyclopedia. He has published in Greek and English scientific studies, articles, book reviews and translations of theological works. His research interests focus on the interpretation of the Gospels and the contribution of archeology to the study and interpretation of the New Testament.
